籃網半場打完還以51：52緊咬公鹿，但第三節先被公鹿打出一波14：2攻勢，就此一路落後；公鹿單節19投12中，「字母哥」安戴托昆波（Giannis Antetokounmpo）全場攻進23分8籃板8助攻全能秀，其中有11分集中在第三節，終結籃網的連勝夢。
前年從籃網轉任公鹿教頭的基德讚安戴托昆波正展現潛能，「他只有21歲，這是讓他最被低估的事，他已經做了很多我們21歲做不到的事，這很特別，我認為他被低估很多次了。」
